Yesterday at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Sony unveiled its new conso-…LOGO for the PS5.And man, they really pulled out all the stops. I mean look at that JPEG. Look at how clean the curves are. And look at how different it is from the PS4 logo…
Do you see it? Do you see what they did? They changed the 4 to a 5 guys. Because it’s the PlayStation 5. Revolutionary. Here’s a behind the scenes look at how they pulled off this masterpiece of graphic design:
BUT WAIT, that’s not all. You think all Sony was doing was revealing a logo for the PS5? WRONG.
THAT’S RIGHT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN. WORLD PREMIERE.
Now, there are some who were still dissatisfied with the new logo design and thought they could do better…
Alas, none of this could reach the heights of creativity that the new logo required. That’s why they make the big bucks and we simpletons just shut up and give them our money.
All jokes aside, I really don’t mind the consistency of the design and name of the PlayStation 5. At least it’s better than whatever acid trip Phil Spencer and co. at Xbox had to go on to think this was a good idea.
